Surprise Engagement Proposal
I was thrilled when Austin reached out to discuss an exciting opportunity to photograph a surprise proposal for Sophia. Thankfully, my schedule allowed me to capture this special moment. We coordinated to meet and talk through his vision for the perfect location and timing for the proposal, which held special meaning for both of them as it was the same spot they visited on their very first date!
The chosen location was on the scenic south side of Pittsburgh, along a picturesque sidewalk that winds by the Monongahela River, just beneath the Hofbräuhaus Restaurant. The proposal would take place at 7pm on the evening of July 21st.
As they walked hand in hand and turned the corner along the river, Austin paused, pulled the engagement ring from his back pocket, dropped to one knee, and asked Sophia, the love of his life, to marry him.
The exhilaration of such a moment is unparalleled! Meanwhile, this joy resonated with the families of both Austin and Sophia, who were secretly present to witness the beautiful occasion!
The celebration continued riverside with a champagne toast. As a photographer based in Pittsburgh, I have the privilege of capturing many unforgettable moments, but this one will always hold a special place in my heart!
Capturing the special proposal moment of Sophia and Austin was a truly an electric experience. It was a pleasure to meet not only the couple but also their families who traveled from Williamsport, PA, and Fresno, CA, to share in this joyous occasion in Pittsburgh. Photographing Sophia and Austin's special moment was absolutely amazing!
I wish this beautiful couple endless joy as they embark on their journey together. Their future is certainly extremely bright!
